Born and raised in Baltimore, Dylan has been shucking oysters for over a decade and has used his skills to take him up and down the East Coast and through Europe exploring various oyster regions. As a competitive oyster shucker he has won the Baltimore Oyster Shucking Contest, The Hamden Shuckoff and placed third at the National Oyster Championship.
